Well Gavin is now officially 21 years old today, strange thing is exactly 10 years ago we were at Machu Pichu celebrating his birthday. Today, Munich and a tour of the Olympic facilities, BMW museum, walking through a very long festival, and ending with a very nice dinner in the English Garden.
Well we spent today at the Dachau concentration camp near Munich. An interesting site it was the first concentration camp – targeting political opponents first, and then expanding in scope as time continued. It unfortunately was the ‘model camp’ for how concentration camps should be run/managed.
Yes we’re back, it’s been a while since posting to the blog. Cindy and I arrived in Munich on Tuesday. Hayden flies in Friday and Gavin is coming down from Berlin (University) on Saturday so we can do a week of family vacation together.
