Yup, made the transition from Singapore to Bangalore India today – about a 4.5 hour flight and generally wasn’t bad. Found myself in 51A with ‘no status’ – window seat which was nice. Nice guy next to me falling asleep on my shoulder was also ‘nice’. We arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the airport and were treated in 5-star style. Well Singapore is 14 hours ahead of MST, so it’s a bit strange to think at 8 pm here it’s 6 am back home, but we’ll work through it. Well yesterday we took a pretty cool touristy excursion on the lake that we are basically staying on. Interlaken is very touristy spot, if you want to buy an expensive watch in Switzerland this could be your spot. Well we successfully mastered taking a one way train to Salzburg, although when we arrived at the train itself we found out that our reserved seats were no longer physically on the train – so ended up moving to the economy section – Hayden found a 1st class seat though. It’s a 1.5 hour train ride from Munich to Salzburg, so pretty simple to get here.
